Terms & Acceptable Use
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the Windward application provided by Tradewind International(“Tradewind”). Windward is an internal business system for authorised staff. By signing in, you agree to these terms.
1. Access is by invitation only
Accounts are created by Tradewind administrators. Self-registration is not available. Your account is personal to you — do not share your credentials, and sign out on shared devices.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use Windward only for legitimate Tradewind business, and not to:
- access, alter, or export data beyond what your role requires;
- attempt to bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the system’s operation;
- upload malicious files or content you are not authorised to handle;
- disclose confidential business, client, or employee data to anyone not authorised to receive it.
3. Data accuracy & responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create or edit (bookings, quotations, invoices, and financial entries). Key changes are recorded in an audit log. Use the system in line with Tradewind’s internal finance and operating procedures.
4. Confidentiality
Information in Windward — including pricing, margins, client details, and employee data — is confidential. Your obligations of confidentiality under your employment or engagement agreement apply to everything you access here and continue after your access ends.
5. Security
Report any suspected security issue or lost device to a Tradewind administrator immediately. Do not test or exploit security weaknesses.
6. Intellectual property
Windward and its content are the property of Tradewind International. These terms do not grant you any ownership or licence beyond the authorised use described here.
7. Availability & changes
Windward is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis for internal use; we may change, suspend, or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. Updates will be communicated through our official channels, and the “last updated” date above will change; continuing to use Windward after an update means you accept the revised terms. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Tradewind is not liable for losses arising from use of the application by staff.
8. Termination
Access is tied to your role at Tradewind and may be suspended or revoked at any time, including when your employment or engagement ends or where these terms are breached.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory data-protection rights you may have under the GDPR or other applicable law. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
